A lot of occasions in the past I've told myself that I was going to go to a gym shortly after signing up. Yet like many other gym members, I never end up going, which does not really make sense because I like exercising so why would I not go and use my gym membership?
What I discovered is that I prefer my own gym for working out, especially when it comes to working towards getting rid of fat and into shape. It's great because I don't have to wait in line to use equipment and I don't waste time schmoozing instead of working out. Don't get me wrong. I like talking to people, just not while working out when I need to be focused. I get an hour to myself and itis a great way to start my day.

Could it be that they simply don't like the environment they are working out in so they choose not to go??So it has dawned on me that for many people, it's not so much that they don't enjoy the exercise, but rather the setting they are in.
Now perhaps in your case, it's just the opposite. You don't like working out in your home and you would much rather get out and be motivated by other healthy people. Regardless of which scenario you may fall under, be sure to select something that you like and that will help you in getting rid of fat! You will never make a lifestyle change to include exercise on a consistent basis if you don't enjoy it. Who in their right mind wants to do something they hate? Not me. I love my morning exercise time and if it felt like torture, I just wouldn't do it.
So here's my question for you: What needs to happen for you to make your exercise time enjoyable? Join an adult sports league? Start your own exercise group? Join a new gym? Perhaps itis setting up a home gym? Finding someone to workout with? The choices are endless but the quickest way to lose weight is to actually do some form of physical activity regularly. So look for many different options and decide which activity you would best enjoy so you can hit your goals for getting rid of fat. I promise you that your workout routine can be enjoyable!
